The Jet Star Roller Coaster is beached, just sitting in the Atlantic Ocean in March 2013, after Hurricane Sandy hit the Jersey Shore in October 2012.The tropical storm force winds, storm surges, and flooding impacted 12 States, and 8 million people lost power for over 12 hours! This image depicts the aftermath of the storm and flooding, before the popular Jet Star Roller Coaster was removed.
I'm a visual artist with a passion for photographing people, flowers, nature up close, abstracts, and interesting places, like the Jersey Shore, Princeton, NYC, Italy. I like to focus on composition, color, and perspective. My images have been in juried exhibits at the Perkins Center for the Arts, and Guild of Creative Arts, and non-juried shows at the Princeton Photography Club, and Art Way Gallery.
