A beautiful fall setting for this pair of geese who are together at sunset on a nearly frozen pond. The Canadian Goose is a large wild goose, with a life span of 10-24 years. It has a black and white head and neck, white chin and cheeks, and a brown body. "Branta canadensis," is the scientific name.
I'm a visual artist with a passion for photographing people, flowers, nature up close, abstracts, and interesting places, like the Jersey Shore, Princeton, NYC, Italy.
